Centennial Aviation Club - CAC is a unique student-run flying club that caters especially to kids between the ages of 8-20 (other ages are welcome though!) Centennial Aviation Club hosts summer camps each year. They fly light sport, aerobatic and traditional training aircraft. The club holds a flight and meetings twice a month at the Peachtree DeKalb airport. Membership is only $10/ month and your first flight is free. For more information contact Rohan or Diego at

Summer Camps

OBAP 2009 ACE CAMPS - The Organization of Black Airline Pilots hoststwo one-week summer camps each year. They are usually usually based inPeachtree City, GA, though they make day trips to Hartsfield-Jackson Int'l Airport, the FAA air traffic control facilities in Hampton, GA, and a "Dream Flight" to a destination on an aircraft provided by Delta Air Lines. Previous Dream Flights have gone to The Smithsonian Museum in Washington, D.C., and the NASA facility in Houston, TX. Weekly Ground School
Atlanta Sport Flight is proud to support "ACE" at Fulton County Field. ACE is a non-profit organization which gives students from 10 to 18 years old the support, encouragement, and training they need to pursue their dreams of careers in aviation. The ACE Weekend Academy is a ground school which is in session during the school year from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturdays at Fulton County Field, Atlanta. If you're looking into colleges in Georgia with aviation degrees for professional pilots, Middle Georgia College is the only one. Middle Georgia College has degree programs for those wishing to become professionalpilots, air traffic controllers, maintenance technicians, or airport managers. The other three colleges listed below have aviation courses only for those wishing to become aircraft maintenance technicians.
